Our PRINCE2 Foundation classroom courses allow you to learn how to effectively manage a project, through one of the world’s most recognized project management methodologies, in an environment where you can actively participate and engage with both the material and others around you.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for this course but delegates would benefit from some experience of working in projects prior to attendance. We recommend that you have access to a personal device for extra curricula work.
Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate that you understand and can recall the various components of the PRINCE2 method.
Explain the PRINCE2 principles.
Explain the purpose of the seven PRINCE2 themes.
Describe each step of the PRINCE2 journey, listing the activities required to guide a project throughout its lifecycle.

Course Outline
The course focuses on the components of the method and how they help to structure project delivery. You should note that evening work will be assigned, which is not expected to exceed two hours per night.

Managing Successful Projects in PRINCE2 manual
In addition to the pre-requisites cited below, delegates attending this course must bring their copy of their Managing Successful Projects in PRINCE2 manual. (ISBN9780113315).
Prior qualifications
You must provide evidence that you satisfy the prerequisite of holding the 2009 or 2017 version of the PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner qualification or one of the other suitable certifications listed on the AXELOS website (for example, PMI, CAPM and PMP or an IPMA Level A-D qualification).

The Exam
The Foundation Certificate is awarded to those who pass a written one hour multiple-choice exam of 40 questions that is set, moderated, marked and invigilated by an ISTQB licensed Exam Provider. Candidates must score 65% or more to pass the exam.
